Oregon Trail 33 days

View what Trackers say Extended Itinerary View Map

The Oregon Trail, great route to America’s northwest, extended about 2000 miles from Independence, Missouri to the Columbia River in Oregon. Those 1843 wagon trains started a massive move west which became called “the great migration.” Over the next 25 years more than a half-million people left everything behind and took to the trail and the promise of a better life.

The great American dream proclaimed one would be free of past trappings, that one would live in a world of freedom and self-shaping, and that willpower would be possible as the driving force to make your life.

The Trail is about the self-made man, an idea all Americans cherish, and the Tracks, 33-day Oregon Trail RV tour relives the epic journey across America by those who pursued that dream 150 years ago.
